Alcoholic By Volume

Alcoholic By volume knowledge can prevent high-risk drinking limits (See Sample Above or  40% alc/vol per bottle such as wine, spirits, beer)

Alcoholic by volume is always an urgument in the bar, sometimes between bartender to bartender and or bartender to customers. If you check at a label of All alcoholic beverages in bottles, cans and pack you will see 40% alc./volume or 14.5% alc./volume.  To better understand what is alcoholic % by volume means, If you remove the 40% alcoholic liquid in the bottle the remaining non-alcoholic liquid of 60% is the alcoholic volume of given percentage of the bottle. So, 40% of the bottle is alcoholic beverage and 60% is non-alcoholic beverage.

What is Alcoholic " Proof " is a measure of the content of alcohol (the scientific term for alcohol is ethanol) in all alcholic beverage. The "proof" is always 2x the percent by volume of alcohol. let say, 40% alc/vol per bottle 2x is equal to 80 proof of alcohol. ( 2x is a USA law and 1.75 is UK law).

What is Standard Drink Size is any alcoholic drink measure fixed amount of pure alcohol consumption, Different countries are with different standard drink contains of pure alcohol (14 grams - USA, 10 grams -Australia, 20 grams -Japan, 8 grams - UK, 20 grams - Austria, 10 to 12 grams - another european countries.
